I'd love to have some fun on Sweary Mommy. My boys, and by that I don't mean my testicles but actually my two sons, show up a lot in my writing because as a single divorced dad who is now their primary caregiver, they are the biggest chunk of my life.

When my then-wife and I were awaiting the home birth of our second son, we asked our post-birth three year old son, how his little brother was going to come out of mommy. We'd watched a lot for birthing videos to prepare him, intermingled with some of his favorite wild animal videos. He told us, "It will come out Mom's Africa." We smiled very big and proud and said, "Yes. Yes, it will."
